CREATING INDIVIDUAL
SOLUTIONS THAT WORK
Estate planning is essential for everyone.
No estate plan is “typical.” We use a unique estate planning process that produces a real plan — not just a set of documents. Most “general practice” firms dabble in estate planning without any real understanding of the motivations and goals of their clients. Scott Maxwell Law Corp. seeks to understand clients needs and tailors estate plans based on the unique and individual needs of each family that comes to us. Our clients walk away with beautifully drafted and arranged estate plans that ensure the protection of not only the clients’ futures but the entire family’s futures as well.
Our estate planning services include, among other things, wills, revocable living trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, and supplemental (special) needs trusts.
Real Estate Closing Services
What is a better complement to estate planning than residential real estate? Our firm can serve as settlement agent for your upcoming real estate closing, coordinating all aspects of closing, including securing title work, coordinating with your lender, communicating with the seller’s attorney, and working with your realtor. Esesentially, we act as the point guard for the whole real estate transaction. We also represent sellers of residential real estate, clearing title issues, preparing the seller’s deed and other closing papers, and making sure the dollars and cents of the transaction are correctly calculated.
